As part of Mayor George V. Harvie's Delta Families First initiative, Delta Parks, Recreation & Culture will be providing new parents with the new Baby Daze program in North and South Delta. Starting July 3, 2019, new parents and their babies (between newborn and 6 months) will have the opportunity to attend a weekly 2-hour drop-in information session with a public health nurse to discuss topics of interest to new parents. These sessions are free.
Baby Daze will provide new parents with an inclusive environment to socialize their babies while receiving valuable information and insight from a medical professional.
Topics will change weekly, with new schedule of dates and topics available in a 12-week cycle. New parents are encouraged to attend at any point during the 12-week schedule.
