This project serves as a replacement hall for Fire Hall No. 4, which was decommissioned in 2017. The new facility not only provides a new and modern fire hall for the Delta Fire & Emergency Service crews, but it also serves as an Emergency Operations Centre and municipal fire training centre. The project has been carefully designed to operate as a multifunctional emergency services building incorporating the key factors of functionality and economy with a measure of design sensitivity which aims to honour the environment and provide a quality post disaster-ready facility.
The building is ideally located to provide efficient emergency response to the Boundary Bay Airport, nearby Provincial highways and both North and South Delta.
This is a project which could not exist without the participation of a talented and dedicated team of people, including the Consultants, Construction Manager, Delta Fire & Emergency Services and City staff. The building will be unique in its achievements and serve the community for years to come.
