Getting back into your workout routine? Perhaps you want to take bodyweight training to new heights. Either way, TRX Rip Training and Suspension Training are available to anyone looking to build strength, endurance, cardiovascular capacity, balance, and flexibility, regardless of your goals or level. Not to mention, these group fitness classes are tons of fun!
From stretch and restorative classes, to sessions designed for runners, there always seems to be a yoga class running at a Delta recreation facility to help your find your balance!
Delta's state-of-the-art weight rooms are available to help you bulk up, tone, or simply keep you active throughout the year. With treadmills, bikes, weights, mats, and more, there are plenty of options to help you achieve all your fitness goals.
One of Delta's most popular drop-in programs, Aquafit classes run at each of our indoor pools and are always a blast!
Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers
Kids and parents are invited to get fit together through some of our fitness classes. Drop-In Mommy & Me Aquafit, Parent & Tot Playtime, Baby & Me Cycle & Strength, and Buggy Boot Camp are great ways to stay healthy while bonding with your little one!

Chinese Watercolour Painting
Create visual poetry through the subtle balance of shape and space, and spontaneous brushstrokes of Chinese Watercolour Painting. The Watershed Artworks Society leads new comers through this beautiful expression of nature.
Jewellery: Stack Ring Class
Learn to make your own personalized sterling silver stacker rings by learning how to form and texture metals, solder, file, sand, and polish. Students take home 4 to 5 rings.
Pottery Handbuilding for Adults
With instruction from the ND Potter Guild, learn about the qualities of clay through handbuilding projects designed to explore various techniques of construction and decoration.
There's never a shortage of activity at Delta's Seniors Recreation Centres. With a variety of special events, workshops, seminars, clubs, fitness, and volunteering opportunities, Delta's seniors are invited to stay healthy and socialize while they stay connected to the community.
Fitness Punch Passes
Fitness passes are available for both members and non-members of Kennedy Seniors Recreation Centre and KinVillage. Zumba Gold, Osteofit, and Hatha Yoga are only a few of the excellent programs offered at these facilities.
There are many volunteer-led initiatives in Delta that can allow you to give back to the community this year. Gain skills and meet new people as a Snow Angel, as a volunteer at the Delta Community Animal Shelter, or Tour de Delta. Learn more about how you can get involved.
Delta Trades & Technical Career Fair
If you're looking to explore available opportunities or to make a career change, be sure to attend the 2018 Delta Trades and Technical Career Fair! On April 26, 2018 at Sungod Recreation Centre, you're invited to attend this free, annual event that features more than 75 exhibits including culinary arts, mechanics, hair and esthetics, aviation, technology, policing, and much more.
