Boundary Bay Airshow Traffic Management and Communications Plans
Council received information regarding the 2019 Boundary Bay Airshow’s traffic management and communications plans. Attendees can pre-purchase an on-site parking pass for $10, or take advantage of the free off-site parking and shuttle bus service. The Delta Police Department is scheduled to lead traffic management and only vehicles displaying an on-site parking pass will be authroized to enter the airport. Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Update
Council received an update regarding the public hearing for Roberts Bank Terminal 2 and endorsed the recommendation that letters be sent to the Prime Minister and the Ministers of Transportation and Environment to highlight the City’s transportation and community safety concerns associated with the project. Included in the letter will be the request that any approval of the project be made contingent upon the completion of a new crossing to replace the George Massey Tunnel. View the staff report.

Agricultural Land Reserve and Agricultural Land Commission Review
The final report of the Minister of Agriculture's Advisory Committee for Revitalizing the Agricultural Land Reserve and the Agricultural Land Commission was brought forward to Council. Council referred the report to the Agricultural Advisory Committee and the Delta Farmers Institute for comments. View the staff report.

Community Shuttle Service in Sunshine Hills
Council approved the recommendation that a survey be issued to the Sunshine Hills Community to determine support for a community shuttle bus. The Sunshine Hills neighbourhood is underserved by transit and, if support is shown for a community shuttle, the City intends to request that TransLink provide improved services to the area. Proposed Amendments to Vancouver Fraser Port Authority Land Use Plan
Council approved the recommendation that staff provide comments to the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority regarding their proposed land use designation amendments to two properties in Delta. View the staff report.
