City seeks Volunteers for Delta Committees and Commissions

Volunteer for a City Commission or Committee

Interested in participating in your local government for a one-year term? A number of opportunities exist to serve on a Delta committee or commission to collaborate and provide advice to Council on various issues affecting our community.

Mayor Harvie and Council are seeking diverse community volunteers who can bring valuable knowledge and experience to the following committees:
 

  • Agricultural Advisory Committee
    • Meets 4 times per year and/or at the call of the chair
  • Board of Variance
    • Meets 12 times per year
  • Climate Action & Community Liveability Advisory Committee
    • Meets 6 times per year and/or at the call of the chair
  • Heritage Advisory Commission
    • Meets 10 times per year and/or at the call of the chair
  • Hunting Regulation Advisory Committee
    • Meets 2 times per year and/or at the call of the chair
  • Parks, Recreation & Culture Commission
    • Meets 10 times per year and/or at the call of the chair

If you are interested in being appointed to one of the above advisory committees or commissions for a one-year term, please submit a completed Committee/Commission Application, along with a brief resumé and covering letter indicating your areas of interest, why you would like to serve, and any relevant knowledge and experience you may have.
