Meet Hudson!
This sweet boy came to us as transfer from another shelter in search of his forever home. He is still very much a puppy but with some manners. Hudson is still working on loose leash walking and learning that other dogs can be friends (not foe). He can be reactive on leash but has also made a dog friend here at the shelter. With continued positive experiences, we suspect he would enjoy a small circle of dog friends.
Hudson does experience anxiety which he is on medication for. He can get overwhelmed when there is lots of stimuli around. He will need to go to a home that is dedicated to providing him with an environment he can thrive in. This can include visual barriers and white noise machines to reduce outside triggers.
Hudson already has a couple of true loves in his life - squeaky toys, chuck it balls and food. Hopefully soon he can add his “human” to his list. We can’t wait for him to find someone to love him unconditionally so that he really feels like he’s the luckiest dog in the world.
