Meet June Bug!
June Bug is one of the sweetest dogs in the shelter, with just the right amount of husky sass. If you ever forget to give her attention, she’ll be sure to let you know. She came to us after being abandoned at a local park so we aren't sure if she's ever lived in a house before, though we believe she could adjust easily with some training and consistency. Failure to provide her with proper mental and physical stimulation may result in destructive behaviour - a tired (well trained) dog is a happy dog!
June Bug gets along well with most of our shelter dogs and would likely do well with another dog in the home. We have found that she can be reactive on a leash out of frustration from wanting to greet other dogs. We would urge her potential adopters to continue working on positive desensitization training for this behaviour and to help foster a bond with her people. If you're looking for a special sweetheart to add to your life, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on June Bug!
