City of Delta’s 16th Annual Earth Day Photo Contest

Calling all photographers! The City of Delta is thrilled to announce the kick-off of our 16th Annual Earth Day Photo Contest, inviting residents to capture our beautiful city through their lens.

This year’s theme, Natural Areas, encourages participants to explore and celebrate the unique ecosystems found throughout Delta, including the Delta Nature Reserve, the Fraser River Estuary, Watershed Park, Boundary Bay, and so many more. These natural areas play a vital role in supporting native species and biodiversity, making them essential components of our community's ecological health.

Mayor George V. Harvie shared his excitement for the contest, stating, "The Earth Day Photo Contest is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the natural wonders that make Delta so breathtaking and unique. I encourage residents of all ages to participate and share their perspective on our stunning landscapes and natural environment."

Participants can enter the contest in the following categories:

  • Adult (18+ years)
