An exciting new feature is being added to the City of Delta’s Online Mapping System — a map of free and publicly accessible wifi hotspots across Delta.
As part of the City’s commitment to fostering a digitally inclusive environment, the Information Services division is thrilled to introduce this public wifi map, found under the Community Services tab. This layer will show everywhere the City of Delta offers public wifi, an important step in the ongoing initiative aimed at enhancing connectivity and accessibility throughout the community.
Access to the internet is often vital for work, education, communication, and leisure activities, and the City of Delta is proud to offer public wifi at so many of our community spaces. The new map layer will help to ensure that whether someone is visiting one of our civic centres, or enjoying the amenities at one of our community centres, they can stay connected with ease.
The public can access and explore this feature here, or by selecting the "Delta Public Wi-fi" layer in the Community Services tab on DeltaMap.
