The new Ferry Road Boat Launch is set to open to the public on February 19, 2025.
The City of Delta has been working to replace the two lane boat launch located at Ferry Road in Ladner, improving its function outside of high tide conditions. The project included the removal of the existing boat ramp and installation of a newer, larger ramp, in addition to the dredging of sediment from the area approaching the boat ramp and extension of the float to increase boat capacity.
Work took place through the fall and early winter to limit the impact to local fish habitat and minimize disruption during peak boating season.
