Free | All Ages Welcome

For the first time ever, Delta Fire & Emergency Services, Delta Police, and Delta Engineering Operations are joining forces to bring you a free, all-ages open house packed with action, discovery, and hands-on fun. Ladders, Lights & Loaders: City Operations Open House is coming to Paterson Park on Sunday, September 21, from 10 am to 2 pm. You won’t want to miss it!

See the gear. Meet the teams. Test the tools. Get in on the action!

This is not your typical open house. Climb into fire trucks, police cruisers, excavators, and more. Watch exciting demos including the Jaws of Life, drone flights, and wood chipping—and explore everything from sewer cameras to tactical gear.

Other features at this year’s Open House:

  • Radar gun speed traps
  • Kabota rides
  • Engineering machinery operations
  • Fingerprinting and safety workshops
  • Firefighter gear challenges
  • Horticulture demonstrations
  • Live Police Dog action
  • Kid-friendly zones

  • And more!
