With the ongoing Canada Post strike and resulting mail delivery disruptions, the City of Delta encourages all residents to register for MyCity and update their account billing preference to eBilling.

  • MyCity allows residents to view their billing history, review the status of an application, and access account details.
  • eBilling provides a convenient and reliable way to receive your invoices and licences electronically by email instead of by mail. Once enrolled in eBilling, paper bills will no longer be issued.

The Canada Post strike is expected to affect the delivery of important City of Delta Communications, including:

  • Utility Bills
  • Business Licences
  • Bylaw Offence Notices
  • Property Tax Notices
  • Dog Licences

It will also have an impact on the City’s receipt of payments mailed in by residents and businesses.

To avoid incurring late fees during the strike, use alternative methods to make payments on time.

Payment options

  • Payments can be made through most financial institutions via phone, online, or in person.
  • Use the Delta Online portal at deltaonline.ca for quick and secure transactions.
  • Visit City Hall or the North Delta Recreation Centre between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm to pay in person.
  • Cheques can be deposited after hours in drop boxes located outside City Hall and the North Delta Recreation Centre.
