The City of Delta's Engineering Department will be conducting its annual watermain flushing program, beginning January 26, 2026. The purpose of the watermain flushing program is to ensure Delta residents and businesses continue to receive high-quality water. The flushing process may result in your water supply showing sediment and discoloration, otherwise referred to as “dirty water”. If you experience this discoloration in your tap water, please run the cold water tap (at the highest point in your premises) for up to 20 minutes or until it clears.
