Delta communities are a safe place to live, work and play. It is important to always be aware of crime prevention and safety to keep it that way.
Delta Police implemented the Community Police Stations (CoPS) program in 1992. Since then, with the support of dedicated volunteers, CoPS has been successful in crime prevention and creation of essential community support programs.
The ultimate goal of community policing is to provide our citizens a safe and pleasant place to reside. Along with community police stations, CoPS includes programs such as Bike Patrol, Block Watch, Child Find, Delta Hospital Program and Safe Schools.
