What is the Seniors Bus Service?
The Delta Seniors Bus and North Delta Seniors Bus offer a free transportation service for seniors in Delta. The Delta Seniors Bus serves South Delta and the North Delta Seniors Bus serves North Delta. The bus service offers easy access to local medical services, recreation centres, shopping locations and other community amenities. The home base for the Delta Seniors Bus is McKee Seniors Recreation Centre in Ladner and for the North Delta Seniors Bus is Kennedy Seniors Recreation Centre.
The service was made possible in part by an Age-Friendly Grant (234 KB) - a partnership between the Government of B.C. and the Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM).
Who Can Use the Seniors Bus Service?
Seniors who live in Delta are encouraged to use the service.
Where Does the Seniors Bus Go?
The Seniors Bus picks up and drops off seniors at requested locations. The day-to-day route is determined by users. Upon request, the bus may be available to go to neighbouring communities for medical services.
What Days and Times Does the Seniors Bus Operate?
Delta Seniors Bus: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9:30 am–4 pm
North Delta Seniors Bus: Monday-Friday, 9:30 am– 4 pm
Currently, the service does not operate on statutory holidays.

All rides are subject to availability and 48 hours notice is recommended.
How Accessible is the Seniors Bus?
The Delta Seniors Bus has 18 seats and the North Delta Seniors Bus has 16 seats. Both have space for walkers and wheelchairs, and are equipped with an automatic lift.
