Are you ready to vote? We're just 60 days away from the 2026 General Local and School Elections in Delta. Now is the time for you to make sure you're ready to vote on General Voting Day, Saturday, October 17, 2026, or at one of our Advance Voting opportunities. Eligible voters will elect 1 mayor, 6 councillors, and 7 school trustees to serve a 4-year term.
You can now check online if you're registered to vote in the upcoming elections by visiting delta.ca/elections/voters. If you're not registered, you can still register online until tomorrow (August 18) with Elections BC. Those who are registered will receive a voting card in the mail with information about your voting location.
If you missed the deadline, don't worry! You can also register when you go vote during advance voting on October 3, 6, and 7, or on General Voting Day on October 17. To register at the voting location, bring 2 pieces of identification, with at least one showing your signature.
