Bands have been providing concerts for the citizens of Delta since the 1800's. The Delta Concert Band - formerly the Delta Community Band - has been carrying on this musical tradition ever since its first concert in May 1965. The DCB has also represented Delta throughout the Lower Mainland, in our province, as well as in Hawaii, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, England, and Scotland. Though primarily composed of adult-age musicians, we invite qualified, secondary school band students to play in the DCB for free. We also lend support to Delta's school band students and directors via coaching sessions and shared concerts.
