Although not the full 5 piece band “Ranj Singh and The Discriminators”, “The Ranj Singh Trio” still brings to the stage subtle Indian melodies and rhythms to originals and classic covers.

Ranj Singh is an award-winning international touring and recording artist.

Join City staff on Sunday, June 22 from 10am-4pm for an exciting and colourful Street Mural Painting Party, where the community will come together to transform the Bridge Street Pop-Up Park in Ladner Village into a vibrant work of art! 

All ages and skill levels are welcome at this family-friendly event. 

The City of Delta is proud to present the Matinee Series alongside the Vancouver Chamber Music Society. Enjoy an afternoon of beautiful music by the Vancouver Cello Quartet.

Formed in 2012, The Vancouver Cello Quartet is comprised of four dedicated professionals who perform original works and arrangements for cellos.

For the fourth year in a row, the City of Delta will be participating in the City Nature Challenge. Help us to explore, discover and share the incredible biodiversity found in Delta by observing nature all around us – birds, bats, butterflies, molluscs, trees, shrubs, ferns and more!

Visit the Discovery Centre for our first ever Winter Movie Series. During the cold months of the year, we will be showing educational documentary films. For the March edition, in honour of Women's History Month, we will be showing the 1997 documentary Under the Willow Tree: Pioneer Chinese Women in Canada directed by Dora Nipp. 

Delta residents will have the opportunity to meet with members of Delta Council to discuss topics of their choice at four Council Open Houses this year. At the regular meeting on January 20, Council endorsed a plan for Council Open Houses in 2025. Scheduled for early spring and late fall, these open houses will take place prior to Regular Council Meetings in both North Delta and South Delta.

Delta residents will have the opportunity to meet with members of Delta Council to discuss topics of their choice at four Council Open Houses this year. During the cold months of the year, we will be showing educational documentary films to keep our brains active. For the January edition, we will be showing The Whale and the Raven directed by Mirjam Leuze.
