Delta is a culturally diverse and growing city located in the Metro Vancouver area. Home to over 108,000 residents, Delta offers a unique landscape that blends urban and rural.

Over one third of Delta’s residents are immigrants, 45% of our population identify as racialized residents and close to 900 newcomers arrive every year. The City’s social fabric continues to evolve with its newcomer communities being an integral part of its culture, and helping to shape the future of Delta. Delta’s residents make it a great place to play, learn, live, and work!

We understand that moving to a new country or city is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming and full of challenges. The City of Delta offers many services to its residents and continues to partner with community organizations to ensure that the needs of our newcomer residents are being met. The resources below have been developed to help make the transition to a new home city as smooth as possible.
