Youth Nights

Youth Night returns to Winskill Aquatic & Fitness Centre on the first and third Friday of every month and Sungod Recreation Centre on the first and third Saturday of every month! Join us after hours as the facility opens to just youth age 10-18 years old! Enjoy the weight room, pool, gymnasium and video games. Pizza and pop provided.

Registered Programs

Join other youth in your community who share your interests! Our registered programs are designed to spark new friendships and create fun, memorable experiences.

Youth Hangout

Ages: 13 - 16 years

A registered, 8-week program for youth ages 13 - 16 years, with the main purpose of encouraging youth to live an active lifestyle through fun activities, exercise and play. Each week youth will experience a different activity - dance, swimming, and art are a few of the activities we may try out! One session per season will be an off-site adventure!

Youth Can Cook

Youth Can Cook is a hands-on cooking program designed to empower young people with essential culinary skills focused on preparing quick, healthy meals. Participants will discover creative ways to use ingredients they already have at home, how to shop on a budget, and how to make meals their family will ask for again! We'll take our knowledge to the grocery store where ingredients will be gathered for a dinner party hosted by the youth!

Join us at facilities throughout Delta for some chill programs designed specifically for youth in Delta. Reserve your spot for the next Youth Lounge and Youth Games Night 72-hours in advance.

Welcome to the Youth Lounge! A safe and welcoming space where young people between 10 - 18 years old can come together to hang out, catch up on homework, play games, or simply relax and chill. Whether you want to focus on studies, connect with friends, or just take a break, our lounge offers a comfortable environment with cozy seating, free Wi-Fi, and plenty of activities to keep you engaged. Drop by to unwind, have fun, and be yourself.
Join us for an epic night of fun, laughter, and friendly competition at Youth Games Night! Whether you're into classic board games like Sushi Go, Uno, or Jenga, or prefer the fast-paced action of video games on the big screen, there's something for everyone. Come hang out with friends, make new ones, and enjoy a chill night filled with snacks, games, and good vibes. No experience needed, just bring your game face and get ready to have a blast!

Youth Workshop Series

Join us for interactive, strength-based life-skill programming designed to educate and empower youth.

Date: February 21, 6 - 8 pm
Location: North Delta Recreation Centre
Ages: 13 - 18 years
Offered in partnership with The Landing Youth Centre and taught by a Registered Clinical Counsellor, this workshop aims to validate the feelings of fear and hopelessness many youth report feeling regarding climate change, and provide tools and stepping stones for youth to cope with these uncomfortable feelings and truths, as well as empower them to make changes for themselves and others in their own lives.

Ages: 13 - 18 years
Offered in partnership with The Landing Youth Centre and taught by a Registered Clinical Counsellor, this workshop explores the truth: that criticism and feedback is hard no matter which way you slice it, and it will be a part of our lives forever. Importantly however, it is a skill that can be developed and practiced.
