On January 28, Mayor Harvie received a letter from The Honourable Adrian Dix, Minister of Health. The letter was in response to Mayor Harvie's December 6, 2021 correspondence requesting that steps be taken to engage the Heron Hospice Society to provide supportive care and bereavement counselling to family and friends of patients at the hospice.
Minister Dix confirmed that a Fraser Health Authority consultation process is underway, and Mayor Harvie has had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Victoria Lee, Chief Executive Officer and Norm Peters, Vice President of Regional Care Integration, regarding Delta's needs.
