New Cultural Services Exhibits
Delta Community Landscapes Exhibit at the Tsawwassen Centre for the Arts
For Culture Days in October 2024, we called all artists, both budding and professional, living across the City of Delta, to showcase their creativity and passion for landscape art. Artists of all mediums submitted their unique interpretations of landscapes representing this beautiful place we call home, Delta.
We welcomed natural and artificial subjects, whether cityscapes, beaches, estuaries, rural, forested or abstract concepts. Inspiration came from any type of landscape or from any timeline. Delta’s residents got creative to showcase our vibrant community in different art forms. We narrowed down the competition to just 10 submissions on display in these exhibits. Voting was open throughout the month of October 2024. Over 630 people voted to select the top three landscapes. You can view the top 10 landscapes at the Tsawwassen Arts Centre through January 2025 and at the North Delta Centre for the Arts in the New Year. Congratulations to the winners!
Thank you to everyone who participated!
