Bat Talk & Walk: North Delta

, -

Come out for a night of adventure as we learn more about bats and go on a walk to see them in their natural habitat. The night will start with an hour-long presentation at George Mackie Library filled with fascinating facts. Participants will then drive themselves to Sunstone Park where we will reconvene and set out on a bat walk. During the walk, we will discuss echolocation and how to safely watch bats. Join us for an extraordinary night of bat education and fun. Please wear close-toed shoes, pants, and long sleeves for the walk. Don't forget to check-out a Bat Pack from your local library containing an Echometer bat detector: https://www.fvrl.bc.ca/playground/bat-packs.
