Celebrate Earth Day with us! Delta residents and City of Delta staff are invited to participate in our 14th Annual Earth Day Photo Contest! We think that nature can provide a source of motivation and stimulation to persevere through hard times, so this year's theme is Inspiration.
Throughout the entire month of March, take a photo in Delta and upload your photo with a title and short description of how your photo is inspirational to you.
From April 1 to April 14, voting will be open to choose the Fan Favourite from among all entries received.
Categories
Adult (18+ years)
Teen (12 – 17 years)
Youth (5 – 11 years)
City of Delta staff (not eligible for Grand Prize)
Who Can Participate?
Delta residents (5 years and older) and City of Delta staff are allowed to participate and enter the contest. Only one photograph can be submitted per person.
Prizes
Three winners from each category will be selected - 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
One Grand Prize winner will be chosen out of all eligible entries received (excluding City of Delta staff entries).
A Fan Favorite photograph will also be chosen based on the number of votes received from Delta residents.
All winners (1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category, Grand Prize and Fan Favourite) will receive a gift certificate. Photographs are only eligible for one prize (for example, the Fan Favourite winner cannot also be the 1st place winner in a category).
Photos will be displayed online only.

Complete the Photo Waiver Form and submit your unaltered photo at letstalk.delta.ca/earthdaycontest
Please include: Photographer's name, title of photo and a short description of how the photo gives you inspiration.
