The City of Delta is transitioning to a new and improved platform for accessing open data related to property, utilities, business licences, and more.
Using ArcGIS Online, the new Delta Open Data Portal provides a cloud-based, user-friendly way for the public to browse and download an expanding range of City data. This upgrade will make it easier for residents, developers, real estate professionals, nonprofits, and consultants to find and use City data.
The new portal link has been added to the current Open Data Catalogue webpage as we begin the transition period. The City will monitor feedback submitted to opendata@delta.ca before fully replacing the existing catalogue in mid-January 2026.
Why the change?
The updated platform provides greater flexibility, supports multiple download formats, and gives the City the opportunity to expand the data set shared with the public. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to engagement, transparency, and accountability, ensuring that City data is accessible and useful to the community.
