On February 14, 2022, Mayor Harvie sent letters to the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, the Honourable John Horgan, and the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada, notifying these parties that Delta Council unanimously endorsed recommendations that the federal government be requested to postpone its decision on the Roberts Bank Terminal 2 (RBT2) project or deny approval of RBT2.
