Precautionary Boil Water Advisory lifted for Westham Island Residents

A precautionary Boil Water Advisory was issued to residents of Westham Island on January 23, due to damage to the watermain sustained from the recent bridge strike.

A repair to the watermain providing service to Westham Island residents has been completed and the watermain is operational.

Water quality tests required by Fraser Health have been conducted and confirm that the drinking water meets required quality standards for safe consumption, as per BC Drinking Water Protection Regulations. The precautionary Boil Water Advisory is now lifted and normal water use may resume.
