The City, Mayor Harvie and Delta Council extend our thoughts to everyone impacted, along with our deepest gratitude to the first responders, Canadian Armed Forces, city workers, road crews, and volunteers who are working around the clock to to keep people safe and cared for during the flooding, landslides and aftermath.
The generous response from individuals, organizations and volunteers to send goods to flooding victims and help transport stranded families has been nothing short of incredible. For those looking to help, Canadian Red Cross is supporting relief and recovery efforts on the ground and is accepting donations online, as is United Way and BC SPCA.
