Updated March 5, 2024:
The Provincial Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure began permanent repairs on the Highway 17A Overpass from the damage sustained in July 2023.
Highway 17A southbound crossing Highway 99 is now estimated to fully reopen by the end of March.
One lane on the Highway 17A overpass will remain closed while maintaining a single lane of traffic in the southbound direction. Nightly single lane closures on Highway 99 in both directions from 10PM – 5AM still in effect.
