The City of Delta is replacing the Winskill Aquatic & Fitness Centre (Winskill) with a new facility that will offer improved and expanded amenities to meet the growing needs of the community. Residents are invited to get involved in the design of the new facility through the City’s engagement program.
There are four community events for you to attend:

The City is formally collecting suggestions and comments for the aquatic facility, fitness centre, sports fields and site location. Feedback during this phase will be collected through to June 16 and will be shared with staff to consider in their recommendations to Council. The City is currently collecting feedback on the following topics:
- Project vision and priorities
- 8 or 10 swim lanes for the main pool
- Features included in leisure pool
- Features of the recreation centre and common areas
- Accessibility and sustainability considerations of the facility
- Location of the new facility in the Winskill Park
- Project impacts and mitigation efforts
