Heat Warning Issued for the City of Delta (August 12)

As of Saturday, August 12, 2023, Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a heat warning for the City of Delta and surrounding areas in the Lower Mainland. Stage 1 of Delta’s Extreme Heat Response Plan has been activated, which includes disseminating information to the public about how to stay safe in the heat and a list of our air-conditioned facilities that are currently open. 

The heat warning is expected to last until Thursday, August 17, 2023.
